YAP+ Workshop: “Introduction to Weaving”
Children ages 5-12 years old will learn to warp a loom and then use a variety of materials to weave a wall hanging. Supplies such as scissors, yarn and embellishments will be supplied. In this interactive art workshop children will learn to create a piece of art using paint and string as their "brush". We will also discuss color theory and colors while creating vibrate artwork. This workshop is geared towards children 3-8 but older children are welcome to register as the workshop can be scaled up. Adults must stay onsite and younger children may need their adults help. This presentation highlights Lafayette’s Revolutionary War contributions and his association with Washington and the Continental Army’s leadership. David Keltz as Edgar Allen Poe
David Keltz gave his first performance as Edgar Allan Poe on Halloween night 1991 at Poe's grave.
