Overview and History of Pooles Island Lighthouse

Mark Gallihue, Cultural Resources Historian at Aberdeen Proving Ground, will present a lecture and slides about Pooles Island Lighthouse, the oldest Chesapeake Bay lighthouse that is still standing. This is an “Ellsworth Shank Lecture,” organized by The Friends of Concord Point Lighthouse and part of their multi-day celebration of National Lighthouse Day.
