The Great Havre de Grace Chili Cook-Off

The wildly popular Chili Cook Off will once again be a part of the Havre de Grace Ice Festival! The contest runs from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

Purchase your “chili” card the day of the event at the Info Booth or in advance online at: https://Ilovechili.eventbrite.com. On your card are the names and addresses of the participating restaurants with their logos. Card holders visit the restaurants, sample their chili and have their card punched. Each card purchased also comes with a souvenir mini crockpot for your chili samples. After visiting and tasting, the card becomes a ballot. Circle the restaurant that was your favorite and drop it in the box located back at the info booth. The restaurant winning the cook-off will be announced live on WHGM Gold and receive a beautiful trophy.

But wait! Everyone who turns in a ballot also has a chance to win prizes, including a $100 shopping spree in downtown Havre de Grace! Prizes will be awarded at the end of the festival (winners need not be present).
