The Benn Experience in Minneapolis Sound

The Benn Experience is a music collective of some of the best talent in Maryland.
Sarahia Benn and The Benn Experience will perform some of the greatest songs from the Minneapolis sound catalog artists which include: Prince, The Time, Sheila E., The Revolution, The Family, Wendy & Lisa, Madhouse, Stevie Nicks, Ready 4 the World, Janet Jackson and more in a musical review that will have the audience dancing, singing, and learning about the history of this important and influential style through song and story.
The Benn Experience is led by Sarahia Benn, Berklee College of Music alumni with over
twenty years of traveling the world as a touring musician, promoter, producer and artist of multiple music styles including: R&B, jazz, gospel, rock, funk, and pop.
The Minneapolis sound is a subgenre of funk rock with elements of synth-pop and new wave that was pioneered by Minneapolis. This will be an opportunity for everyone to bond over timeless music performed in the Benn Experience’s signature style.
