(Performances July 31 @7PM and August 1 @ 2PM & 7PM)

Join STAR Summer Camps as we journey across the savannah in this lively musical based on the beloved Disney film!

Disney’s The Lion King Jr. is a musical adaptation of the beloved 1994 movie The Lion King, with award-winning songwriting from Tim Rice and Elton John. When the young lion, Simba, learns of his birthright and the circle of life from his father, Mufasa, he is eager to become king and start making big changes to the kingdom. When Scar, Mufasa’s brother, catches word of the young prince, he starts plotting how he can become the next king instead. Alongside a colorful cast of characters, Simba will journey to discover who he is and what it really means to be king of Pride Rock.

Featuring classic songs such as “I Just Can’t Wait to be King,” “Can you Feel the Love Tonight,” and “Hakuna Matata,” The Lion King Jr. brings the African savanna to life on stage in a story of love, friendship, and fun made perfect for kids.

3 full theatrical performances at the conclusion of camp: July 31 & August 1. Tickets to performances will be sold separately.
