We are honored and excited to unveil The Sergeant Alfred B. Hilton Memorial at David Craig Park in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
This memorial honors Harford County’s only Medal of Honor recipient. Sgt. Hilton, the National Color bearer for Company H, 4th United States Colored Troops (USCT), made the ultimate sacrifice during the Battle of New Market Heights, Virginia in 1864. It also honors the over 185,000 USCT who valiantly fought during the Civil War.
This event is free and open to the public with limited handicap parking.
