Opera House “Unplugged” presents: Emma Klein in Concert

Bel Air native Emma Klein is a budding pop artist whose sound flourishes into a cross between early 2000’s pop and modern day singer/songwriter. Following her Top 40 appearance on season 2 of ABC’s American Idol, she nurtured a friendship with Bobby Bones, blooming into opening for him on tour throughout the US in 2019. Emma’s music, including viral TikTok hits like ‘Mood Swing’ and ‘Still Gonna Love Ya,’ has blossomed into a dedicated following and has earned her both FM and Sirius XM airplay.

Emma is a lyrically and melodically gifted writer. Her emotional awareness allows her lyrics to tackle bigger, introspective topics that will strike a cord in anyone with a pulse. Her melodies are chosen thoughtfully and with the intention that the lyrics sound as emotional as they read on paper. When she is not writing for her project, she is an incredible co-writer for other artists. Emma’s most recent cut is “Pay Me Back In Change”, a song written 100% on her own, which was recorded by Mackenzie Porter and played on the Kelly Clarkson Show. Klein’s achievements include opening for artists like Dermot Kennedy and Pop-viral sensation Marielle Kraft, as well as cultivating a publishing venture with Twelve6 and Warner Chappell Music.

Emma is thrilled to be returning home to Maryland and to share the stories and songs with the community that has been encouraging her to write them since day one.
