Join us for this mid-winter walk where we hope to see some of the resident species like Carolina wren, song sparrow, downy and pileated woodpeckers. We will also be searching for winter visitors to the park including Hermit thrush, Yellow-bellied sapsucker, and the ever-elusive winter wren. Of course, we will also keep an eye on the river for ducks and other waterfowl. We will begin at the parking lot at the Lock House Museum at 817 Conesteo Street. The trails may be muddy so proper footwear is recommended. Hikes will last 1.5-2 hours. Bring binoculars to get the best views of the birds.
