Join us in Havre de Grace’s Downtown Historic District for our seasonal First Friday celebrations, every May through October from 5pm – 8pm!
This Month’s Featured Live Music
Havre de Grace First Fridays features plenty of live music! This month’s featured bands include:
- Joe Teague (200 Block of Washington)
- Acoustically Sound (300 Block of Washington)
Other popular options for live music during First Fridays include the State Theater, MacGregors, Coakleys Pub, Tidewater Grille, the American Legion, Water Street Seafood and Market Street Brewery!

Enjoy Local Shopping & Dining
In addition to our unique and wonderful retail shops downtown, First Friday is host to 80+ local vendors, including (but not limited to):
- Food Trucks & Open Outdoor Cafe seating, adding to our great selection of local dining options
- Local Vendors selling apparel, jewelry, handcrafted items and more!
- Local Organizations offering free giveaways, games and activities
Festivities are from 5-8pm, but most of our local businesses are open all day, and many have extended hours during First Fridays, as well.

“Kids Zone” Fun: Activities & Crafts
Our First Friday Kids Zone is located on Pennington Avenue. Kids can enjoy hands-on crafts, and let out their energy in a bounce house that’s sure to bring big smiles! Snacks are also available for purchase nearby, as well as vendors selling toys and collectibles.

Visitors can get to Havre de Grace from I-95 by using Exit 89 (Rt. 155) or viaUS-40. Arrive early for the best parking or Ride the Tide Trolley from any of its convenient stops!
