The Foreigner
A science fiction editor named Charlie Baker pretends to be a non-English-speaking foreigner to avoid social interaction at a fishing lodge. This ruse leads him to overhear secrets and become entangled in the lives of the other guests, including a pregnant woman, her fiancé, and a menacing property inspector. The play follows Charlie’s unintentional involvement in their affairs, culminating in humorous and heartwarming situations as he navigates the consequences of his deception.
