Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Workshop & Talk

A two-part celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Individual tickets + combo tickets for the full evening are available!

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, author, producer, national youth advocate, and inspirational speaker Kevin Shird will present a Youth Workshop on self-esteem and self-empowerment.

Refreshments will be provided from 5:00 to 5:30
Youth Workshop: 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. (Fire Hall)

Following the Youth Workshop, Mr. Shird will present a talk about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., sharing little-known information about Dr. King, common misperceptions, and the women behind the civil rights movement. The talk will be followed by a Question & Answer session.
