Prof. James R. Karmel Lecture: The Harford Civil Rights Project

In celebration of Black History Month, Dr. James R. Karmel, professor of history at Harford Community College and director of the Harford Civil Rights Project, will present a lecture and slideshow presentation on The Harford Civil Rights Project (HCRP).
The HCRP is a free mobile app that allows users to learn about the 20th Century African
American civil rights movement in Harford County. Prof. Karmel will share fascinating, inspiring stories and images about principal places, people, and events that shaped the community during this period in Harford County’s history.
