
“It’s Lit!” is back! Now the third Friday of the month at St. John’s Episcopal Church and sponsored by Mosaic Project. “It’s Lit!” celebrates the power of the written word through poetry slams, play and book readings, and additional literary events. Admission is completely free.
This month is a reading of Swan Out of Water by Irmgarde Brown. Brown is a retired librarian/manager, a long time blogger, a photographer, a playwright and director, an active volunteer in the Havre de Grace arts community, a friend to the Village of Hope, Zambia, and a graduate from the Living School for Action and Contemplation. She is a widow, the mother of three adoptees from Eastern Europe (now grown),and a grandmother of four.
