Defender’s Day in Havre de Grace: Past, Present & Future!

Join us as we celebrate the life of Havre de Grace’s hero and defender John O’ Neill, who courageously defended the city from British invasion during the War of 1812. Since this year’s event falls on “May the Fourth,” a Star Wars element has been added to double the fun!

The event begins with a welcome from our mayor followed by a short performance of local thespians depicting this historic event. The remainder of the day brings you live music, vendors, a kids zone, food trucks, Star Wars characters & activities, a beer garden… and FIREWORKS to close out the evening!
Bring your lawn chairs & blankets, and spend the day by the water in beautiful Concord Point Park.
