Birds of the Chesapeake Bay
June 23 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pmFree
Students investigate what makes birds different from other animals, and why they are so special. Students learn how to use both their sight and hearing to identify common birds of the Chesapeake Bay, and how to use tools like binoculars and identification guides to do so. Students will leave this course as competent and curious birders.
Courses will start promptly at the time they are scheduled. Parents/Guardians must attend with your student. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a water bottle. If you have any questions, contact Environmental Center Director Meredith Maloney at (410) 939-4800 .
