Beyond the Obvious Lecture Series: Haunted Havre de Grace

Some history is remembered. Some history is recorded. And some history… apparently never left.

Join us at St. John’s Episcopal Church for an intriguing evening with Lisa Unruh-Lopez, lifelong Havre de Grace resident, regional historian, and founder of Havre de Haunts, the city’s original ghost tour.

Drawing from her new book, Haunted Havre de Grace, Lisa will explore the legends, tragedies, ghostly encounters, and unexplained phenomena that reveal a more mysterious side of our city’s past. She’ll also share stories from her paranormal investigations and remind us that history isn’t always found neatly preserved in museums and archives.

Sometimes, it may still be walking around upstairs!

Part of St. John’s Beyond the Obvious speaker series, which invites the community to explore fascinating ideas, unexpected perspectives, and stories worth sharing.
