Hear Me Out! Poetry Slam
Come out for a night celebrating the literary arts, starting with the "Hear Me Out!" POETRY SLAM! Readings are welcomed on the following conditions: Poems must be original No props, nudity, instruments No hate speech Team pieces are fine All styles welcomed including theatrical monologues, literary poems, rants, haikus, freestyle rap Any topic welcomed Hosted by Jenni Meckelvaney Beer & Wine available for purchase on site. Jennings is an award-winning author of children's books, who teaches the fundamentals of creative writing course at Harford Community College. FLOAT Closing Reception
Gallery 220 is pleased to present FLOAT, a curated group exhibition. During summer months with warmer weather, later sunsets, and vacations from school and work, one can begin to “float” through this time of year. Artists have explored variations on this theme, both in the literal and the abstract.
