Our Holiday Extravaganza for kids! Join us for breakfast and a visit with Santa! Make crafty holiday cards with the artist, Laura Numsen. For those who would like to keep the celebration going, after waving farewell to Santa, wave “Hello” to Rudolph and friends and grab a ticket to Tidewater Players’ 11 AM youth performance of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr.!”

The Extravaganza is general admission in the Fire Hall.

Based on the animated television special “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” (adapted from a story by Robert L. May and the song by Johnny Marks) and the stage production directed and conceived by Jeff Frank and First Stage with scenic/puppet by Brandon Kirkham.

Tidewater Players’ marks the return of our Youth Programs with a perennial family favorite—the brand new stage adaptation of the Rankin & Bass 1964 stop-action television classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer comes to life on stage! All the classic Christmas music you’ve loved like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, “Holly Jolly Christmas”, and Silver and Gold”. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer features all of your favorite characters including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius, Clarice, the Island of Misfit Toys, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, and, of course, Rudolph. Relive your childhood or expose a youngster to the ultimate Christmas story about the value of acceptance and being yourself! Order early, we expect this family show to sell quickly!
