Students learn the conditions needed for plants to grow, and how plants are dependent upon pollinators to reproduce. They visit several types of pollinator habitats, look for diversity and abundance of pollinators, and learn to identify which pollinators pollinate which plants here in Havre de Grace. Students learn how seeds are dispersed by insects, animals, natural/human forces.
Courses will start promptly at the time they are scheduled. Parents/Guardians must attend with your student. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a water bottle. If you have any questions, contact Environmental Center Director Meredith Maloney at (410) 939-4800 .
