Enjoy a delicious lunch with Harriet “Moses” Tubman as she relives her courageous life as an abolitionist and social activist. Born a slave in 1822, she escaped and rescued many other slaves using the Underground Railroad.
Ms. Ilene Evans, Artistic Director of Voices of the Earth, Inc portrays Ms. Tubman as she reenacts these events that influenced our history. Her realistic character brings to life the courage and resilience of this historic and remarkable woman.
Lunch and tea are provided by the Vandiver Inn and will include chicken, orzo and spinach soup, delicious sandwiches, assorted scones with clotted cream and lemon curd, dessert and tea or coffee.
