March 16 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Discover the variety of fish inhabiting the Chesapeake Bay. Learn about the physical and biological characteristics of fish, and how they fit into the food web. Gain an understanding of what threatens aquatic ecosystems and how we all can help. In addition to a fish habitat game, partakers will walk from the Museum to the Waterfront to search the cove and overlook the promenade for fish species.
This class is designed for families, kids (ages 5 and up), and adults to learn together. Parents must accompany children.
Pre-registration is required – classes fill up quickly. We will accept walk-ins on the day of the class if there is space available. Class purchase includes free admission to the Maritime Museum.
