Joseph’s Department Store is excited to announce our Indoor Holiday Market, happening on the first three weekends of December! Join us on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, as we transform our space into a festive shopping paradise in the heart of historic Havre de Grace.

Grab a hot chocolate, a festive treat and stroll through our holiday market that will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit. You can check everyone off of your shopping list with over 50 vendors over 3 weekends.

Train lovers won’t want to miss this, we are proud to have Mason Dixon Train garden joining us for all market dates.

HDG Merry Marketplace

You’re invited to the HdG Merry Marketplace on Franklin December 6th from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM.  This will be during the Holly Jolly Parade!
We’ll have an amazing selection of holiday gifts, permanent jewelry, festive baked goods & treats, and more! In addition to the amazing offerings from our local vendors, there will be store specials on Franklin St. and extended storefronts from downtown businesses to browse through. 

Whether you’re looking for a Christmas gift for a loved one or just want to indulge in some holiday fun, the Merry Marketplace is the perfect place to do so. Hope to see you there! 

Holly Jolly Village Activities and Vendors

New this year! Come join us for family-friendly, holiday fun at the Holly Jolly Interactive Village at David Craig Park. Enjoy free kids’ activities, horse drawn carriage rides,* games and activities, holiday-themed interactive vendors, live holiday music, delicious snacks and much more!

Havre de Grace Holly Jolly Parade & Tree Lighting

Havre de Grace kicks off the holiday season with our 2024 Holly Jolly Parade and Tree Lighting! The parade starts at Union Avenue at St. John Street, continues down St. John, then turns onto Pennington Avenue and ends at Union Avenue. After the parade, Santa Claus will help Mayor Martin light the tree live on stage at the old Visitors Center, 450 Pennington Avenue. Santa Land opens for visits with the Big Guy. There’s room for everyone on the nice list!
