Handel’s Messiah – At the STAR Centre

Just in time to get you in the holiday spirit, The STAR Centre’s new Resident Orchestra, the Northern Chesapeake Symphony (NCSO), and a volunteer community chorus will present Georg Frederick Handel’s Messiah (Part I).

As the first in a series of collaborative programs the STAR Centre and NCSO will present a public performance of Handel’s Messiah. A smaller Baroque Orchestra within NCSO along with a chorus of singers from local community and church choirs will perform part I of the 3-part
Oratorio. Four local vocal musicians including Suzanne Chadwick, Lannon Fritts, Sandy Gibbons, and Bennett Spotts will sing the solo parts.
