The 2022 celebration of National Lighthouse Day will be on Aug. 7 from 12-6pm. There will be fun activities for kids and grownups alike, in addition to climbing the Lighthouse Tower and visiting the Keeper’s House Museum. The schedule includes:
12-1 pm: Story time
12-2 pm: Introduction to Women Light Keepers by Mary Rasa
1-3 pm: Mermaid Meet & Greet
1-3 pm: Free ice cream
3-5 pm: Free popcorn
4-5 pm: Walking Tour of the Keeper’s House Museum & Grounds by Bill McIntyre
