WJZ “Where’s Marty” Segment Features Nonnie’s Cookie Jar in Havre de Grace
August 29, 2024 — It’s been an exciting past few days for Nonnie’s Cookie Jar at 811 Revolution Street in Havre de Grace. August 28 was their grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.
Owner Emily Godson received a City of Havre de Grace flag from Havre de Grace Mayor Bill Martin and a proclamation on behalf of the Harford County Council. Mayor Martin, Havre de Grace City Council members, representatives from the Havre de Grace Chamber of Commerce and members of the owner’s family were all onsite to celebrate the ribbon cutting.
On August 29, Marty Bass from WJZ-TV | CBS Baltimore filmed his “Where’s Marty?” segment live from Nonnie’s.
Prior to opening the brick and mort
ar location, Emily was a regular vendor of her Italian cookies and treats at Havre de Grace’s First Fridays.
