AIKIDO is a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on movement, balance, and teamwork! Students will work closely with one another under instruction to learn introductory movements and maneuvers in a safe environment that can ready them for other martial arts classes and self-defense learning! Students in this class will engage in Aikido-related games, practice, exercise, and work on fundamentals — including yoga warm-ups and boxing — that will help them demonstrate their skills at the end of a week! Our focus is on ensuring that students learn about themselves, their capabilities, their discipline, and their responsibility as new martial artists.
