THIS EVENT IS CANCELED
Looking for a new & natural way to dye those eggs? Check this out!
Solvania eggs use natural flora to decorate and onion skins to dye creating rich red and brown hues. We’ll try a couple of other natural colors as well. Come spend the afternoon preparing 6 beautiful eggs, then enjoy touring the museum and learning about the folk art of carving decoys. $10 (includes all materials)
Children’s Event – Saturday, April 4, 2020 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Come learn how common foods can be used to make those pretty Easter egg hues. We’ll take a nature walk to find flowers and flora to “stencil” on our eggs. After we decorate our special eggs, we will conclude with a “duck” scavenger hunt. $5/child
